Product Description
Lightest weight and smallest class]Ultra-lightweight at 15-30% of the weight of conventional lead-acid batteries. Furthermore, it is more compact than lithium batteries manufactured by many other companies.
Low self-discharge rate
The self-discharge rate is extremely low at about 1.2% per month, so it is recommended for riders who enjoy touring and riding on the course only on weekends.
Long life with BMS
The BMS prevents over-charging and over-discharging, and the batteries can be cycled over 2,000 times for a very long life. Under ideal conditions, it can be used for 6 to 8 years.

Tough Star uses LiFePO4 for the positive electrode, which does not produce flammable gases and has higher safety than LiPo batteries.
No fear of sulfation
ToughStar does not cause sulfation, so there is no loss of power output due to discharge. (Sulfation is a phenomenon in which lead sulfate adheres to the electrode plates of a lead battery when discharged, resulting in a decrease in power output.)
Can be installed in any orientation.
Tough Star can be used in any orientation because it does not contain any harmful liquid such as diluted sulfuric acid.

The waterproof design allows for safe use in the rain or when using a high-pressure cleaner. (IPX5)
Instantaneous and high energy density
While possessing sufficient cranking performance, it also combines class-leading smallness, lightness, and wide compatibility. To achieve this, Tough Star is equipped with an instantaneous, high energy density battery. When compared at the same capacity, CCA is more than 1.5 times higher than that of MF batteries.

Wide Compatibility Range
The 102 and 103 models are compatible with 24 and 6 types of lead-acid batteries, respectively, and can be used in place of conventional lithium-ion batteries.
